Visser was the heaviest player at the 2007 World Cup weighing in at 140kgs. Visser would probably have far more than the current tally of 17 caps to his name had he not retired from the sport for two years between 2007 and 2009.
The prop - due to play for Lyon in 2007 - had to pull out of the deal and subsequently retired with irreversible spinal problems. However, he returned to the Namibian side in 2009 able to continue playing in the front-row. And his remarkable comeback will continue in the forthcoming World Cup having been named in Namibia's 30-man squad for the tournament.
