Trainor is relatively new to the Canada side but marked his debut for the international side with a try against Russia in the 2011 Churchill Cup. Trainor has recently nurtured his game by appearing for the Canada Sevens side during the 2010 HSBC Sevens Worls Series. Trainor will now have the chance to take on the world's best after being named in Canada's 30-man squad for the World Cup.
