James Short started the 2010-11 season playing for Bedford Blues on loan in the Championship but ended it scoring the only try in the Aviva Premiership final.
Short was a regular in the Saracens Storm side in the lead up to the 2010-11 season where the wing had already demonstrated his try scoring abilities and he continued that form when he broke into the first team.
His strong running and strength in the tackle made him one of the breakthrough players in the Premiership in 2010-11. And he shone during the JP Morgan Sevens Series in the summer of 2011 before starting where he left off for Sarries in the 2011-12 season.
