Scotland scrum-half Mike Blair has confirmed that he will join French PRO D2 club Brive next season. Blair announced that he was leaving Edinburgh after 10 years with the club back in April and was originally linked with a switch to Perpignan. But despite Brive's relegation from the Top 14, Blair will journey to France next season to link up with his new side. With 81 caps to his name for Scotland, Blair will bring a wealth of experience to their half-back ranks and for him, the move is something he has always had his eye on. "I've never made a secret of my desire to play in France at some stage during my career and I'm delighted that it will be with Brive," Blair said. "It's a lovely place with an incredible support and I'm really looking forward to meeting up with them after the Scotland tour." In other Edinburgh news, Jim Thompson will link up with Phil Godman at London Scottish next term. © ESPN EMEA Ltd
