Scotland boss Andy Robinson has made one enforced change to his side to face Samoa in Aberdeen on Saturday.
A rib injury suffered in last weekend's win over South Africa has ruled Edinburgh lock Scott MacLeod out of contention, meaning a recall for Richie Vernon.
The Glasgow Warriors No.8 was superb off the bench against the Sprinboks and packs down at the base of the scrum, with Nathan Hines moving from blindside into the second-row to cover MacLeod's absence. Saracens back-rower Kelly Brown takes the No.6 jersey.
Northampton's Joe Ansbro retains his place in midfield after making his debut last weekend, while at the other end of the experience spectrum prop Allan Jacobsen and wing Sean Lamont will win their 50th caps.
Samoa have made one change to their side to. Toulouse tight-head Cencus Johnston comes into the starting line-up in place of Hawke's Bay's Anthony Perenise and will pack down alongside skipper Mahonri Schwalger and Wasps prop Zak Taulafo.
