Nigel Davies is a former Wales international who is currently the director of rugby at Gloucester.
The former centre played 498 matches for Llanelli and won 29 caps for Wales between 1988 and 1997. After retiring from the game, he went onto to take a series of coaching roles within the Welsh Rugby Union and was part of the Wales coaching team at the 2007 Rugby World Cup.
In May 2008 he was appointed as the Scarlets head coach and in four years with the Welsh region he helped bring through a number of top-quality young Welsh talents such as Rhys Priestland and George North.
In June 2012 he was announced as the replacement for Bryan Redpath at Aviva Premiership side Gloucester.
