Ospreys scrum-half Rhys Webb has been banned for one match for stamping.

Webb was found guilty of a stamping incident during the Ospreys' 23-3 victory over the Scarlets on Boxing Day. The scrum-half will therefore miss the Ospreys' clash with the Dragons in the RaboDirect Pro12 on Monday.

A Celtic Rugby statement said: "The player having admitted foul play, the disciplinary committee found that the act warranted a red card and having reviewed the footage of the incident and heard submissions from the player and his representative, found that the entry point was at low end reduced to one week in view the player's admittance of guilt and previous good record."
