Edinburgh have completed the signing of Georgian international No.8 Dimitri Basilaia for next season.
The 26-year-old has played 21 Tests for Georgia since 2008 and crossed for a try against England during last year's Rugby World Cup.
Subject to a work visa, Basilaia will follow Cheetahs prop WP Nel and Northampton fullback Greig Tonks in signing at Murrayfield.
"I believe that Dimitri will prove to be a very significant signing," Edinburgh boss Michael Bradley said.
"He's a fantastic fit for this club and will contribute a huge amount to an increasingly aggressive and combative forward unit, while his ball handling skills are such that we can maintain and strengthen our fast-paced, offloading game."
