Ulster secured a bonus-point 30-12 victory over the Dragons on Friday night.
The Dragons began the game the better and took the lead after seven minutes with a penalty from Jason Tovey. But Ulster responded and scored a try through No.8 Robbie Diack after Ruan Pienaar had missed two shots at goal.
Pienaar soon atoned for his earlier misses as he crossed for Ulster's second try and duly landed his first points from the boot on the night. Tovey landed two further penalties for the Dragons but Pienaar also landed a three-pointer to maintain their lead at the break.
The Dragons kept in touch with Tovey's fourth successful kick at goal but minutes later Ulster winger Craig Gilroy ran in the host's third try. Pienaar added another penalty before Stefan Terblanche secured the bonus point for Ulster.
