Cipriani withdrawn by Wasps

Danny Cipriani has been pulled from the Wasps side for today's EDF Energy group match at Gloucester. The England fly-half made his return from a broken ankle six weeks ahead of schedule in Wednesday's Guinness Premiership home defeat to Bath. Cipriani was originally named among the substitutes in the Wasps 22 on Friday but was withdrawn shortly before kick-off today because he was still feeling soreness in the ankle after the Bath game. However, the London side expect the rest will mean the 20-year-old is fit for next weekend's Heineken Cup match against Castres. © PA Sport
