Saracens have added to their back-row resources with the signing of Japan No.8 Takashi Kikutani.
Kikutani's current club Toyota Verblitz confirmed the news on Wednesday though it is unclear how long he has signed for. Kikutani, 33, boasts 66 caps for Japan and can play at both blindside and at the back of the scrum.
Kikutani's signing is the second bit of business done by Saracens this week as they have also signed lock Hayden Smith back to the club after a spell in the NFL. Saracens have strong links with Japan as skipper Steve Borthwick coached their forwards during the summer and the club's former coach Eddie Jones is currently in charge of Japan's national side.
