Allen ready to re-sign with Tigers
September 20, 2013
Leicester Tigers centre Anthony Allen is ready to re-commit his future to the club.
Allen captained the Tigers against Bath on Saturday but his contract is up at the end of the season. And despite reported interest from France and Leinster, Allen is ready to sign up for more time at Leicester.
"I want to stay and I want to sign a new deal," Allen told the Leicester Mercury. "I'm very happy and settled here. I'm happy, my family is happy and that's the main thing for me. We've got a good group of young, English boys here as well with a sprinkling of talented British and international guys.
"Why look to change anything if you are happy and settled? So I want to stay."
