With Gavin Henson's future up in the air after his latest off-field incident, ESPNscrum takes a look at some of the incidents in the controversial centre's past.
March 2005: Henson is an ever-present in Wales' Six Nations Grand Slam triumph - their first since 1978.
October 2005: Henson releases a book entitled My Grand Slam Year chronicling Wales' Six Nations success and his experiences on the Lions tour of New Zealand. Comments about other players - including Martyn Williams and Colin Charvis - and life in the Wales camp mean he is forced to apologise in front of his team-mates.
Henson said of Charvis in the book: "I found Charvis a difficult character to work out and never really got on with him. He was captain of Wales and seemed to be on a power trip. He tried to give me advice about being professional off the pitch but there was an air of superiority to it."
June 2005: Henson is selected for the British & Irish Lions' tour to New Zealand and appeared in the second Test defeat to the All Blacks.
December 2005: Henson is cited for elbowing Leicester prop Alex Moreno in a Heineken Cup game between the two sides, Henson is initially banned for 10 weeks and two days, which is reduced to seven weeks on appeal.
December 2007: Henson is charged with disorderly conduct over his behaviour on a train after helping Ospreys beat Harlequins in the Anglo-Welsh Cup. The case is later dropped.
March 2008: Henson appeared in every game of Wales' Six Nations Grand Slam campaign.
April 2009: Henson was cautioned by police investigating an allegation of assault during a night out with three Wales team-mates - Andy Powell, Rhys Thomas and Jonathan Thomas.
2009-2010: A succession of injuries keep Henson sidelined at the Ospreys with reports suggesting he considers retirement.
April 2011: Having left the Ospreys for Saracens and then moved on to Toulon, things appear to be looking up for Henson when he scores a try on his debut for the French club. But after his second appearance against Toulouse he is involved in an altercation with two team-mates in a nightclub and is suspended for a week.
April 2012: Henson is sacked by the Cardiff Blues following an incident on the flight back from Scotland after their match against Glasgow Warriors the previous night. He later apologises for drinking and "behaving inappropriately" but it is not enough to save him from being dismissed.
July 2013: Henson is reportedly punched by a team-mate having only recently completed a move to Premiership side Bath. The altercation took place in a city centre pub and the club immediately launched an investigation into the incident.
