London Irish have bolstered their front-row resources with the short-term signing of John Ryan.
The 23-year-old prop can play on either side of the scrum and arrives from Munster whom he represented on five occasions. With Alex Corbisiero set to miss the start of the season, Ryan will provide cover across the front-row.
With Corbisiero out, London Irish's resources are stretched but Ryan will have to compete with Halani Aulika, Cai Griffiths, Leo Halavatau for a spot in the team. The past couple of months have also seen London Irish's resources further depleted with Clarke Dermody retiring and Faan Rautenbach and Paulica Ion departing.
