Newcastle lock Adriaan Fondse has been suspended from Saturday's Aviva Premiership against Leicester at Welford Road.
Fondse was sent off for punching London Irish full-back Delon Armitage in the Falcons' 19-10 victory over the Exiles last weekend.
The 29-year-old from Pretoria was suspended for one week at a Rugby Football Union disciplinary hearing on Wednesday night. He can resume playing on March 1.
