The Argentinean winger signed the West Country side in the summer after leaving the Leicester Tigers but he is yet to make an appearance for Bath due to international commitments. Agulla started all six of Argentina's games in the Rugby Championship but failed to cross the line.
He will provide an additional option for Bath on the flank when he arrives with Tom Biggs and Kyle Eastmond currently the starting wingers for the Aviva Premiership club. And Booth is relishing utilising the extra dimension that Agulla will bring.
"It will provide us with a much-needed boost," Booth told the BBC. "We need to bolster our squad size and numbers as we're a little bit thin. He'll provide positive pressure for people to perform.
"We want players to be under pressure to be selected because that's how you get the best out of people."
Bath have also been without Francois Louw who has appeared in just one Premiership game for the club this term - their season opener against Worcester. Booth admits that while Louw's absence is a blow for the club - with the flanker turning out in the Rugby Championship - the fact that Louw has been playing for the Springboks reflects well on Bath's standing.
"It's a frustrating thing from a Bath perspective," said Booth. "But I know all the supporters, and the club internally, wish Flo all the best. He represents Bath and represents success by being included. We want Bath to be connected with success and it will reflect well on everybody."
