Toulouse fullback Maxime Medard has signed a new deal with the Top 14 champions.

The 25-year-old, who was top try-scorer in the 2010-11 Top 14, has committed to Guy Noves' side until 2015. He joins Yannick Jauzion, Clement Poitrenaud and Yves Donguy in signing on with Toulouse.

And Toulouse are set to call on teenager Christopher Tolofua to solve their growing crisis in the hooker department. Gary Botha and Akvsenti Giorgadze are both long-term absentees with a broken leg and torn thigh muscle respectively and Noves will now look towards youth.

Noves said: "We've been watching him for some time but the injury crisis we're suffering is going to participate his arrival."
