The brother of Saracens centre Kameli Ratuvou, Iliesa Keresoni is a talented Fijian fullback blessed with a tremendous boot.
After catching the eye in 2007 with a string of scintillating performances with Tailevu in the Sanyo Cup and then the Knights in the Colonial Cup, Keresoni made his international debut as a replacement in a Test against Tonga the following summer, aged 21.
However, his his second appearance for his country did not come until the following year when he was selected on the wing for a June meeting with Samoa. He retained his place in the starting line-up for the following weekend's game against Japan and then registered his first Test try against the same opposition a year later.
Keresoni was deployed at centre against the Japanese and was also utilised in midfield in his next outing, against Samoa. However, by the summer of 2011 he was lining out at fullback and he was selected in his preferred position for Fiji's clash with New Zealand in Dunedin in July of that year.
