Worcester Warriors could be forced to bring in reinforcements as their injury crisis deepens.
Prop Matt Mullan and flanker Neil Best were both injured during the Warriors' 16-7 victory over Bath at Sixways on Friday. Mullen was forced off with a damaged shoulder while Best may have broken his forearm.
Warriors boss Richard Hill told the BBC: "The two positions where we could have done without injuries was in the back row and at loose-head prop. It was a costly match for us in that regard - it was a brutal game and quite a few Bath players went down too."
He added: "We were already down two loose-heads with Ceri Jones out after a shoulder operation and George Porter having appendicitis. "Matt will also be out now with a damaged shoulder. We might have to look at if we can bring people in. Oliver Tomaszczyk is also missing with a hamstring injury, so we are light in that department at the moment. Neil also looks like he might have broken a forearm."
Scrum-half Shaun Perry also came off against Bath, having only just returned from injury. But Hill was not too concerned with the former England scrum-half's fitness.
"Shaun just twinged his hamstring. He was mad at half-time and wanted to go back out there," Hill said. "But I had to make a call and Jonny Arr has played well in the last few games, so it was the right decision."
