Clermont Auvergne have confirmed that their highly-rated head coach Vern Cotter has signed a new deal with the Top 14 outfit. The New Zealander, who led the club to their first league success last year, had been linked with the All Blacks of late but has opted to remain in France. "I'm happy to continue what I have started six seasons ago," Cotter told the club's official website. "The directors reassured me of the club's ambition during the coming seasons and there are still great things left to win. "I'm happy with the club and the means that the club have made available to allow both myself and the club to develop and move forward." © ESPN EMEA Ltd
