Hika Elliot first wore an All Blacks jersey against Munster in 2008 but the hooker did not make his full international debut for a further two years when he started against Scotland in Edinburgh. He won his second cap a week later against Ireland but had to wait until 2012 to feature again for the All Blacks when he came on as a substitute against the Irish in Auckland.
The Chiefs hooker previously played age group basketball for New Zealand, has a black belt in Kung Fu and qualified for the karate world championships in Japan in 2008.
