Patchell is an exciting young fly-half with what promises to be a big future ahead of him with Cardiff Blues and Wales.
He came through the Blues academy after signing with the Welsh Region in 2010/11 and played much of his rugby for Cardiff RFC. Having represented Wales at under-18 and Sevens levels, he made his debut for Cardiff Blues at the start of the 2012/13 season.
A string of good performances for the Blues catapulted him into contention for a place in Wales' 2013 Six Nations squad.
