To correspond with the 2009 British & Irish Lions tour of South Africa, ESPN Scrum brings you part one of a six-part video series featuring the pride of Lions - the 1974 "Invincibles". The 1974 tourists were unbeaten on South African soil - winning 21 games including three Test matches before drawing the fourth and final Test against a fearsome Springbok side. From a squad littered with legends, current Lions coach Ian McGeechan, skipper Willie-John McBride, prop Mike Burton and back-rows Roger Uttley and Andy Ripley gather here to reminisce about their greatest achievement. At the height of apartheid and in the face of a rugged and dangerous South African side, these Lions left their mark.
