Davidson and Maggs ruled out

Jeremy Davidson and Kevin Maggs were Monday ruled out of Ireland's Six Nations Championship match againstItaly at Lansdowne Road on Saturday.
Davidson, who plays his club rugby for
Castres, was a replacement in the
win over Scotland but has failed to recover from a knee injury. His place has gone to Paddy Johns, who moves up from the A squad.
Bath wing/centre Maggs failed a fitness test on a hamstring strain. He has
not been replaced, with the squad reduced to 23 players.
