England lock Simon Shaw has ended speculation over his future by signing for Toulon. Toulon announced today on their website that the 38-year-old had joined them as a 'medical joker' until the end of the season. Earlier this month Shaw incurred the wrath of Wasps after walking out on a new one-year contract following 13 seasons of service at Adams Park. The Lions forward wanted to finish his career overseas and has chosen to link up with Jonny Wilkinson at Toulon, who unveiled their new signing today as cover for current injuries, bringing about the `medical joker` tag. The Top 14 club have also unveiled former Australia back Matt Giteau, who failed to make the Wallabies' World Cup squad, on a three-year contract. © ESPN EMEA Ltd
