The Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU) has confirmed that Eric Elwood will continue as head coach of the Ireland Wolfounds next year.

The Connacht boss, who accepted the position at the tail end of last year, will again be assisted by his former international colleague and current Munster forwards coach Anthony Foley.

Joey Miles, who has been working with the Wolfhounds for the past six seasons, has also been retained as team manager.

The Wolfhounds' next fixture is the January 28 clash with England 'A' in Exeter.
