Ireland will complete their November Test schedule without Donnacha Ryan after the Munster lock picked up a three-week ban for stamping in last weekend's 20-10 victory over Samoa at Lansdowne Road.

The 26-year-old was a 69th-minute replacement for Devin Toner in the game, which saw Ireland put in another stuttering performance in front of a sparse crowd.

Ryan will be free to play on December 5, having had his mid-range sanction downgraded due to his 'exemplary disciplinary record and good conduct at the hearing'.

Samoa hooker Ti'i Paulo was also called before the judiciary after being cited for two dangerous tackles during his side's tour loss to Connacht at the Sportsground on November 9. The Clermont front-rower was spared any sanction as neither infringement was deemed to be worthy of a red card.

Ireland face New Zealand in Dublin on Saturday while Samoa travel to face England at Twickenham.
