Former Ireland rugby international the Reverend Ronnie Craig won two caps for his country in 1938.
The former Presbyterian Moderator played for Queen's University and Armagh and helped steer the latter to the Towns' Cup in 1948.
Only for the outbreak of war, Craig would have won more than his caps against Scotland and Wales in 1938.
While a minister in Belfast he played cricket for Woodvale and was unlucky not become a dual international due to games clashing with Sunday services.
He played for the now defunct Northern of Ireland Football Club before his ministry took him across the border to Monaghan but played regularly for Armagh where he was known as a 'legend'.
He also played cricket for Carrick, but made his name as a artistic batsman for Woodvale.
He died in Belfast at the age of 93.
