Bath centre Dan Hipkiss has been banned for a week by the Rugby Football Union following his moment of madness during their Aviva Premiership victory over Exeter last weekend. Hipkiss was sin-binned in the second half of his side's 23-15 victory at The Rec for killing the ball and was shown a second yellow card - and therefore a red card - for playing the ball and preventing a quick lineout while in the sin-bin. The RFU announced that Hipkiss will be free to play again next Monday after appearing before judicial officer His Honour Judge Jeff Blackett. The suspension means that Hipkiss will miss Bath's Premiership appointment with London Welsh at the Kassam Stadium on Sunday. © ESPN EMEA Ltd
