Ospreys duo sidelined for Scarlets clash

The Ospreys are optimistic that Richard Fussell and Ian Evans will miss only a limited amount of rugby as they recover from ankle injuries.
The Ospreys duo both suffered ankle injuries during last weekend's 16-13 Heineken Cup defeat to Saracens at the Liberty Stadium. While both second-row and winger will miss the Ospreys' RaboDirect Pro12 clash with the Scarlets on Boxing Day, they could return against the Cardiff Blues on New Year's Day.
Ospreys physio Chris Towers said: "Ian left the field with an ankle injury at the weekend that has ruled him out of the Scarlets fixture. We aren't in a position to confirm his availability for the Cardiff Blues game on New Year's Day yet, but aren't ruling him in or out at this stage.
"Richard also sustained an ankle injury and is in a similar position. We'll continue to monitor both of them over the next week, with a view to whether or not they will be available for the Blues match."
