Gavin Henson could return for Cardiff Blues in their Heineken Cup clash with London Irish on Saturday.
The Welsh international pulled out of last weekend's defeat to Leinster with a calf injury but took part in training on Tuesday morning. And the Blues will continue to monitor his progress as he seeks to prove his fitness for the Pool 2 clash.
Meanwhile Jamie Roberts is still sideline for the Blues but could make his return in next week's final Pool match against Racing Metro. Elsewhere Chrs Czekaj is fit again after recovering from the hamstring injury that has kept him sidelined in recent weeks.
Bradley Davies and Paul Tito are also set to start, while Martyn Williams is also in contention after recovering from the broken arm he initially damaged prior to the World Cup.
