Greatest Lions tour of the pro era?
July 5, 2013
To coincide with the British & Irish Lions' tour of Australia, and in association with Dove Men+Care, we are asking you to vote on our short-list of greatest Lions moments of the professional era. We'll announce the results of each poll as we build up to the eagerly-anticipated Test series against the Wallabies.
In the final part of our series, we want you to pick the greatest Lions tour of the pro era. Will the Lions' hard-fought victory over South Africa in 1997 get your vote? Maybe the Lions gutsy yet fruitless showing against Australia in 2001 will get your vote? Did the lesson handed down by New Zealand in 2005 impress you the most? Or was it the Lions' brutal and controversial showdown with South Africa in 2009? You may think that the current tour stands out with the Lions and the Wallabies set to vie for glory on Saturday night.
Re-live those great moments above, select your favourite using our poll - remember you can also choose the current tour - and then let us know your thoughts below.
