The longest transfer saga of the Top 14 season looks to finally have come to an end with Rory Kockott announcing he will stay at Castres.
Toulon have long been linked with a move for the scrum-half and reports suggest he signed a pre-contract agreement with Mourad Boudjellal's side. But he has now confirmed he wants to stay at Castres.
"Finally, I've decided to stay in Castres," Kockott told Inside Sport. "It is always nice to have several proposals, and I have a lot of gratitude for it. I thought this [staying at Castres] was better than the other."
"This is a decision that will benefit me and my family."
In other news, reports from South Africa suggest fullback Gio Aplon will leave the Stormers at the end of their season to take up a contract with Top 14 side Grenoble.
