Toulon flanker and former Wallaby George Smith could be set to leave France and join Japanese side Sanyo Wild Knights.
Reports in the French press suggest that Smith, who joined Toulon in the summer, is set to leave the French side at the end of the Top 14 season. La Provence newpaper says he has agreed a deal with the Knights, who were champions in Japan in 2008.
The French paper also reports that Toulon could be set to bolster their English contingent by targeting London Irish's Steffon and Delon Armitage.
