Gloucester duo to undergo surgery

Ryan Mills and James Simpson-Daniel, who both suffered injuries in the LV= Cup fixture against Newcastle Falcons on Saturday, are both set to undergo surgery in London tonight.
Both players were stretchered off in the first half of the game. Mills will have an operation on his foot and, Simpson-Daniel on his ankle.
A club release said a further update on both players will only be issued once the operations have taken place and the exact nature of the respective injuries can be fully assessed.
