Ben Youngs has failed a fitness test and will miss Saturday's Test against Argentina.
Youngs was originally named on England's bench for the game against the Pumas but he has suffered a hip injury. With Youngs out, Harlequins' Danny Care takes his spot on the bench.
"Ben is still suffering some discomfort in his hip area and is unable to run at full pace," Stuart Lancaster said. "He is making good progress and should be fit for consideration next week. We are fortunate that we can call on Danny who has been playing well for Harlequins and training hard with us."
