Leicester trio return for weekend clash
October 29, 2013
Richard Cockerill, Leicester Tigers director of rugby, said centre Matt Smith, 27 and winger Scott Hamilton are set to return to action on Saturday, and while lock Steve Mafi would also return there were fitness issues.
"Mafi is fit, or at least not injured," Cockerill told the BBC. "Being fit to play is another matter, he has not played a lot of rugby in the last few months so it is hard bring guys back. Those three [Mafi, Smith and Hamilton] are more than likely to now be available."
Leicester are missing more than a dozen players this weekend because of injuries or international duties.
