Northampton Saints are following internal disciplinary procedures following Brett Sharman's tweet regarding Mo Farah. Before Farah started what turned out to be his victorious final in the 5000m at London 2012, Sharman tweeted: "Good luck Mohammed running for Paki... I mean Great Britain..." Sharman deleted his account soon after and spokesman Chris Wearmouth said that the hooker has "apologised". Wearmouth added: "We have clear social media guidelines and we have regular meetings with the players over the use of Twitter throughout the year where we remind them of their responsibilities and their place in Northampton society, playing for the biggest club in town. "We take this kind of thing extremely seriously and we have a process in place which we are now following." The Saints have not revealed the details of any disciplinary action taken against Sharman. © ESPN EMEA Ltd
