London Wasps have confirmed that tight-head Ben Broster will join Top 14 Orange side Biarritz at the end of the season.

The prop has 88 appearances to his name for the beleaguered Aviva Premiership side and has been linked with Biarritz in the past month or so. With just one match left in the league, Broster will play his last game for the club, if selected, against Newcastle Falcons a week on Saturday in their relegation decider.

Wasps director of rugby Dai Young has paid tribute to Broster while also emphasising that the club can cope with the void left by the experienced tight-head.

"He has been a main-stay of the team over the past season and has done a fine job," Young said of Broster. "While we have already brought in some young tight-head prospects, this is an area we are looking to further strengthen and we hope to be able to announce an experienced signing in this position in the near future."
