Newcastle Falcons fullback Alex Tait joined the Guinness Premiership side while still at school, following his brother, England centre, Mathew into the first team.
Tait scored a hat-trick on his Falcons debut against Cetransa El Salvador in the European Challenge Cup during the 2007-08 season and then helped England Under-20s to a Grand Slam in the Six Nations. He was also part of the England side that reached the final of the U20 World Championship in 2008.
