Worcester Warriors chairman Cecil Duckworth has spearheaded the club's growth in to an established Guinness Premiership side.

Having sold his company, Worcester Group, after helping to pioneer the combination boiler Duckworth ploughed some of the revenue in to the Warriors in 1997 and eventually was rewarded with Premiership status in 2004. In 1998 he set up the charitable Duckworth Worcestershire Trust and was awarded an OBE later in 2004.

In 2009 Duckworth was appointed to the RFU's 'Image of the Game' task force following the Harlequins 'Bloodgate' scandal.
