The Italian Rugby Federation (FIR) has confirmed the identity of their new side in the RaboDirect PRO12 ahead of next season.
With Aironi's licence revoked due to financial reasons, the FIR have formed a new side called 'Zebre' (Zebras). They will be based in Parma and will play at the XXV Aprile Stadium.
Zebre have appointed Roberto Manghi as their rugby director with Vincenzo Troiani and Alessandro Troncon his assistants. Former Saracens and Italian Test hooker Fabio Ongaro will take up the team manager's post.
