Bledisloe spectators get new pitchside vantage point

July 12, 2014

Rugby fans now have an opportunity to sit in a couch that slides along the sideline at the first Bledisloe Cup Test at ANZ Stadium in Sydney. The four-seater "Slideliner" will roll in synch with the on-field action at 20km/h.

"It's like Samsung Gold Class, like you're at the cinemas, but instead you're watching a football game," Wallabies star Adam Ashley-Cooper said after filming a promotional video. "This has certainly never been done at any sporting venue across my travels. I have seen a spa, a jacuzzi on the side of a football field in Durban, but this is a drier, much nicer option."

The Slideliner will also be in use for the Rugby Championship Test against South Africa at Patersons Stadium in Perth and at the third Bledisloe Test at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane on October 18.

Fans wanting to win a seat on the Slideliner should go to samsungslideliner.com.au for further information
