ESPN Staff
August 18, 2013

Bath Rugby made easy work of rivals Bristol on Saturday beating their neighbours 69-5 at the Recreation Ground.

Andy Robinson is taking charge of his first full season for the Championship side but Bath showed them no mercy as they put 11 tries on their rivals. Flanker Matt Gilbert opened the scoring for Bath with a double and his efforts were followed by Charlie Beech and Tom Dunn as they grabbed further tries before the break. Fautua Otto went over for Bristol just before half-time but it proved to be nothing more than a consolation as Bath scored seven more in the second 40. Semesa Rokoduguni grabbed a brace with Kyle Eastmond, Matt Banahan, Tom Biggs and David Wilson also scoring for the home side with referee David Rose also awarding them a penalty try.
