Lions winger George North simply does not know how to have a quiet game.

The giant Welsh winger hit the headlines with a sensational try in the Lions' first Test victory over the Wallabies in Brisbane and backed that up with another jaw-dropping contribution to the second Test in Melbourne.

His man-handling of Wallabies rival Israel Folau was simply sensation and not only gave a whole new meaning to the phrase 'man and ball' but also sent social media into meltdown. Awe soon gave way to a string of spoof adverts based on North's heroics on Saturday night that almost ended in a nasty injury with the winger eventually landing on his neck.

The Lions may have failed to secure an historic series victory but they produced the moment of the game thanks to a young man determined to write his name into Lions folklore. This magic moment will live forever alongside the '99' call from 1974, the 'Battle of Ballymore' in 1989, Jim Telfer's 'Everest' speech in 1997, Brian O'Driscoll's try in 2001 and North's own score in Brisbane.

North's unorthodox approach to the game appears to have its roots in an advert he filmed earlier this season to promote Wales' autumn internationals...

His endeavour ensured Twitter was soon awash with some more light-hearted adverts - see below - with the buzz surrounding his eye-catching, textbook-shredding, crowd-pleasing, awe-inspiring and fear-inducing act set to fuel the excitement ahead of the series decider in Sydney on Saturday...

Perhaps surprisingly, North's latest career highlight loses nothing of its appeal or intensity when re-produced in LEGO...

Having blown us away in the last fortnight, what will North serve up for us at the ANZ Stadium?
