Roff passed fit to play

Wallaby winger Joe Roff was Friday cleared of a serious back injury and is expected to play for the ACT Brumbies in their Super 12 rugby match against South Africa's Sharks here next weekend.
Roff hurt his back in a trial match against Otago a fortnight ago and was forced to leave the field early during last week's 18-15 loss to Auckland.
But a team spokesman said Roff had been cleared of any fracture during an MRI scan Friday and the injury was found to be the result of a muscle strain.
