Toulon have confirmed that Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe will be out of action for six months after undergoing knee surgery.
The 29-year-old back-row suffered ligament damage during the Pumas' Rugby World Cup pool clash with Scotland last month.
Lobbe went under the knife in Lyon on Tuesday and will now move on to Hauteville-Lompne to start his rehabilitation.
