  • Lions hopefuls Gavin Henson and Mike Tindall suffered potentially serious injuries in Gloucester's Anglo-Welsh Cup semi-final victory over Ospreys.

Wales international Henson pulled up in open play with an apparent ankle injury and he faces an anxious wait before discovering the extent of the injury. "It looks like an injury to his right ankle," said Ospreys head coach Sean Holley. "The ankle is non weight-bearing at the moment, and he is having it iced."

England centre Tindall limped off in the first half of the Premiership side's 17-0 victory after his knee buckled in a tackle. Ian McGeechan's tour squad is due to be announced at Heathrow on April 21 and he can only hope for encouraging fitness bulletins from the respective camps.
