All Blacks coach Steve Hansen has recalled half-backs Aaron Smith and Dan Carter ahead of their Test with the Pumas in Buenos Aires on Saturday. Carter has been forced to sit out their previous two Tests with a calf injury which led to Aaron Cruden deputising. But with Carter back in action, Cruden drops to the bench with Piri Weepu sitting alongside him. Weepu got the nod against the Springboks in their previous match with Smith dropped due to a breach of team protocol. But Smith shone when he came onto the field in the second-half and marked the occasion with a try. Hansen has also made two changes to the bench with Sam Cane coming in for Victor Vito and Ben Smith getting the nod ahead of Tamati Ellison. New Zealand team: Israel Dagg, Cory Jane, Conrad Smith, Ma'a Nonu, Julian Savea, Daniel Carter, Aaron Smith, Tony Woodcock, Andrew Hore, Owen Franks, Luke Romano, Sam Whitelock, Liam Messam, Richie McCaw (captain), Kieran Read Reserves: Keven Mealamu, Charlie Faumuina, Brodie Retallick, Sam Cane, Piri Weepu, Aaron Cruden, Ben Smith. © ESPN EMEA Ltd
