Romania go into their Pool B against Georgia with an edge over their Six Nations B rivals on previous meetings.
The Oaks have won eight of the 14 matches between the two sides since they first met at Lansdowne Road in 1998. Romania ran out 27-23 winners in the qualifier for the 1999 Rugby World Cup. Romania went on to win five of the first six meetings between the two sides with Georgia recording only one win in Bucharest in 2001.
